Teacher of Chemistry

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, inspirational and resilient secondary school teacher with a proven track record of achieving high academic standards, to teach Key 3, 4 and 5 to well-motivated pupils of various abilities. The candidate must have excellent ability to assess students’ progress, excellent literacy and numeracy skills and be a keen member of the school community.

Essential:
    • have a degree from a British University (B.Ed, BA Hons with QTS or PGCE);
    • be a native level speaker of English;
    • have a minimum of 1 year teaching in a Secondary school;
    • have experience of teaching ideally the National Curriculum in England/Wales (applicants with experience of teaching the curriculum in Scotland or Northern Ireland are welcome to apply);
    • have excellent subject knowledge and possess a dynamic and creative approach to teaching and learning, including how to motivate all learners;
    • have high expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour;
    • demonstrate experience and/or knowledge of pastoral care

 

Desiderable:
    • Show evidence of recent relevant continuing professional development (including up-to-date knowledge of AfL, EAL, ICT, literacy/numeracy across the curriculum, motivation in the classroom and effective methods for differentiation);

We are currently seeking motivated, enthusiastic teachers to share a fun filled summer with us,

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience and develop a range of skills within a British School whilst having fun? We aim to create a happy and inspiring environment for our young learners whilst having a fun filled summer immersed in English.

The ideal candidates should be native speakers in English or non-native speakers with a minimum of C1 level, with experience working with young learners. You will spend the summer teaching English to EAL pupils and provide engaging activities within your classroom. The candidate must have an enthusiastic approach to ensure the children are having fun whilst producing quality learning.

Animator Recruitment Summer School

We are currently seeking fun, motivating monitors/animators to work with us this summer at our British Summer School.

Are you looking for an exciting summer? Do you want to work with children aged between 2 years to 18 years. Providing fun, games, water play, sports, face painting, gymkhanas, magic and more?

The ideal candidates should be native speakers in English or non-native speakers with a minimum of C1 level, with experience working with young learners and hold up to date relevant qualifications. You will spend the summer providing fun, engaging activities to children in English to EAL pupils.

Essential:
  • native speaker in English or non-native with minimum of C1 level;
  • have recent experience working with young learners as a monitor/animato;
  • bring high energy, enthusiasm and entertainment;
  • dynamic, fun and strong leadership skills;
  • skills such as dance, music, theatre;

Football Coach (July)

We are currently seeking Football Coaches.

Football coaches are responsible for planning and delivering an active programme, combining football and fun activities for 6-16-year-olds.

Football Coaches are responsible for coaching and looking after a group of children (ratios vary depending on child ages), delivering high-energy, fun and inclusive sessions that ensure every child is engaged and makes progress, regardless of their ability.

Football Coaches will form part of the team, so you’ll need to be able to work proactively and collaboratively with your peers. You’ll also need to maintain professional relationships with children, parents and carers, communicating positively and providing feedback on a child’s progress throughout the course.

Our football coaches will be proactive, showcasing skills, demonstrating good practice and most importantly…having fun!

We’re looking for high-energy individuals who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • a passion for working with children and young people;
  • native English speaker or non-native with minimum of C1 level;
  • at least 1 year’s experience working with 6 – 16-year-olds;
  • train, determine game plans and tactics, and inspire players;
  • be a real team player who’s happy to rotate duties and form positive relationships;
  • you’ll need to be flexible, with a willingness to adapt;
  • possess leadership skills and a vibrant and confident personality;
  • ability to plan for and encompass all the technical areas of football whilst delivering high quality coaching;
  • not be afraid to get involved in any additional paperwork or preparation;
